How to delete your account

You can delete your account directly in the Crewbase app:

• Staff: Open the app, tap the Me tab, then Profile, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete Account.
• Vendors: Open the app, tap the Manage tab, then Settings, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete Account.
• Promoters: Open the app, tap the Me tab, then Profile, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete Account.

You will be asked to confirm. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

If you are unable to complete deletion in the app — for example, if you have outstanding payments owed to staff, or active events that need to be transferred or closed first — please contact us at hello@trycrewbase.com and we will assist you.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove your personal account and identifying information, including:

• Your login and email address
• Your name, phone number, and profile photo
• Your uploaded identity verification documents and any identity verification records held on your behalf
• Your uploaded files (signatures, business documents, avatars)
• Your Square, Stripe, and identity-verification connections and associated access tokens

What is retained

Some records cannot be deleted because they are shared with other parties or are required for legal, tax, and employment obligations. These records are retained in a form that no longer identifies you personally where possible:

• Records of completed work (shifts, hours worked, and payment records) are retained so that the staff, vendors, and promoters you worked with keep an accurate history of the work and payments between you.
• Invoices and settlement records are retained as required for tax and financial record-keeping obligations under Australian law.
• These records may reference the business name and ABN associated with a vendor or promoter account, as this is business information that forms part of a mutual commercial record (such as an invoice).

Your personal profile no longer appears in the app after deletion, and your personal identifiers are removed. Retained records exist only to preserve the rights and obligations of the other parties involved and to meet legal requirements.

Backups

Deleted data may persist in encrypted operational backups for a limited period before those backups are cycled out.
